Essential Information
Appearance: He's a severely underwhelming man to look at, when all is said and done. His body type is not that of a really built ninja, rather that of someone with some muscle, but it was clear his training went elsewhere. This man, who's older then most other genins, also seems to look older then he actually is.
Of course, something that people note is his hair. It really is long, and often hides his eyes... for him to sleep. It's brown. That's, sadly, the main reason he rarely cuts it, as it'd make the sunlight hit his face while sleeping, and that's just not something that he wants to have done. It's just more practical.
He also has the look of a thug, some say. He assures you, he's not a thug. He might be a little lazy, but he's not a thug. He's just too lazy to fix him looking like a thug. Really, that's all that's going on. He doesn't care how he looks, which is fairly obvious from what he wears and the fact that he refuses to cut his hair.
He wears a strange trench-coat type thing, something he usually refuses to take off. Even when the heats on. His clothing otherwise consists of combat pants and sandals. He does wear a white tank-top under his coat.
He stands at 6 foot solid, and weighs about 150 pounds.
Personality: Beyond being too lazy to change how he looks, he actually isn't all that lazy. He's the kind of guy who cares some days, other days he's as apathetic as a person with Antisocial personality disorder. He rarely finds interest in things, which is his main problem. If he had the amount of interest that others had, he'd be a formidable foe. He just lacks interest in things like combat. The only reason he's as good as he is with ninjutus is because of talent more then anything. Sure, it was trained by Jo, but he hates to mention that man.
Jo, to him, is a regretful father figure, something he dislikes remembering. He's forced to remember because Jo visits him... usually while he's sleeping. The guy's so bothersome in Yoshiro's head. However, even as much as he absolutely hates remembering the guy, he would bow his head to him. Just because he hates remembering him, doesn't mean that he doesn't respect the guy. After all, he'd not be around if it weren't for Jo. The bastard.
Family: Takeo Yamakawa, Father(Deceased), Kennen Yamakawa, Brother(Deceased) Jo Naozane, Sensei(Still alive, and kicking sadly.)
History: Born to Takeo and a woman he is unsure of, the family was quickly disbanded. Well, not so much disbanded as killed. They were a group of lower-level missing nin, even his brother, who was about 16 years older then he. Who killed them, you may ask? Jo. Jo Naozane, the bastard. Jo, having been under the orders to kill all, didn't have the heart to kill a 10 day old baby. It was a young one, but he had a wife and took Yoshiro home. This came to be known as his home, it was deep in the forest.
Why did Jo live in the forest? Well, that's his problem to worry about, and Jo never talks about it. Not even to Yoshiro, who he treats like a son, and raises to his best ability. Not that it helps any. Yoshiro is often an ungreatful bastard to Jo, and purposely avoids him on occasion, this was especially true during the school years. Although not much happened during the early years, there was something up. Jo and Yoshiro looked nothing alike, and the mother wasn't much like Yoshiro either. Yoshiro noticed this at the age of about 14. So, it was time to tell Yoshiro about his birth, right?
Yes. Jo knew it was now or never, so he explained who exactly Yoshiro was. The son of a missing ninja, and raised by a jounin of the leaf village. Yoshiro shrugged. He was about to enter the academy, and due to this news, he procrasinated even furthur due to the news, and didn't enter the academy till 16.
Although, from the age of 10, he was being trained by Jo, if not even in small intervals. After all, Jo's a craftly bastard, but also one with a heart. When he hit the academy at 16, he was already an ace with ninjutsu. At least, compared to a lot of them. He aced the academy, with flying colors. Except when he was found sleeping in the rafters. But shh. That never happened.
