Essential Information
Appearance: Himawari strongly resembles her mother, having the same dark-blue shade of hair and bangs. Her hair flares out on the bottom and she has a small protrusion of hair on to of her hair resembling a stem. From her father, she inherited two small whisker markings and bright blue eyes.
Her face takes on a very round, nearly plump shape. She is built very thin and petite. Hima is not quite bony, however, as she keeps up a very healthy diet. She possesses very tiny hands and feet, contrasting with her relatively large ears that she often keeps covered by her unruly hair.
Most often she wears a yellow hooded sweatshirt with extra long sleeves. Under that sweatshirt she wears a cyan tee shirt. In addition, she wears a very short, pink shirt and long black socks. To top it off, she wears bright red toeless boots.
Personality: Hima is a very kindhearted, cheerful child. She sincerely cares for her family, including her father, who is often too busy to spend much time with her. She is fairly mature and patient for her age, and is very understanding of her father's responsibilities as Hokage. Hima often assists her mother with basic housework, taking on even more responsibilities than her brother. She has an exceptionally close relationship with her parents, referring to them as "Mama" and "Papa". She also shows a particular care for her late uncle Neji, despite never meeting him. Hima possesses a Guardian spirit, as she seeks the protection of everyone she cares for above all else. This is displayed as Himawari refuses to leave her mother when she is injured and is under the care of Sakura Haruno. Despite her often kindhearted nature, Hima possesses a serious temper. When anger to a point, Hima lets go of all restraints, becoming confrontational and violent. This temper is shown when her brother accidentally breaks her doll. Awakening her Byakugan, she attacked Boruto with strong killing intent only to be blocked by her father, whom she knocks out.

Byakugan: Byakugan or the "All Seeing White Eye" is the Hyuuga's clan Kekkei Genkai dojutsu. The primary ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra. Upon activation of the dōjutsu, the wielder is granted an automatic 50 meter field of vision around themselves which can then be extended at their discretion. The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, as well as telescopic sight. It can also see through most barriers, and other things such as smokescreens, differentiate between non-corporeal clones and see through techniques that would otherwise hide an opponent from normal sight. This also allows user's to see and target the opponent's tenketsu.
Uzumaki Life Force: Uzumaki naturally possess incredibly strong life forces, granting them very long lifespans. This also enables them to recover from injuries and exhaustion in short periods of time, enough to survive something as devastating as the removal of tailed beasts, although they are still left near death afterwards.
Tenketsu Control: As a result of her Hyuuga descent, Himawari is able to release charka from all of her tenketsu, rather than only the ones in her hands.
